We are a family-run company based in North Lincolnshire on the banks of the Humber Estuary.
Established in 2019, we specialize in skippered charter hire of small commercial vessels and workboats for both commercial and leisure use.
We also facilitate RYA training through our training partner Humber Rescue. Book a course through us and help support one of the busiest independent lifeboat services in the country!
We are mobile and can operate anywhere in the UK.
See our ‘Private Charter‘, ‘Commercial Charter‘ or ‘Training‘ pages for full details.
MARY OLWEN
This vessel is a 6 metre Humber Destroyer RIB, which is an extremely rugged and well proven boat manufactured here in the UK.
Powered by a Johnson 140hp 4 stroke outboard engine, giving a top speed in excess of 30 knots. This makes her ideal for both rapid transits to sites and for continuous slow speed operations.
She carries an MCA category 3R commercial coding, allowing operations up to 20nm from a safe haven in favourable weather and daylight, or up to 10nm at night, for up to 5 persons (including crew).
As she is trailer launched, we can operate from anywhere that has a suitable slipway, beach or boat lift.
RIBs are incredibly versatile, seaworthy boats and can be utilised for many commercial and leisure purposes. We are able to mount a wide variety of survey equipment to the vessel, and in the past have undertaken activities ranging from beam trawling to unexploded ordinance clearance.

RV FORTUNA
The newest addition to our fleet, FORTUNA is a 6.6m catamaran. She was laid down in 2020 in Brighton, and has been undergoing extensive adaptations locally to upgrade both her operational capabilities, and crew/passenger welfare facilities.
She is primarily intended to be a platform for both physical and electronic surveys, but she is extremely versatile and can be used for many other duties.
Powered by 2 x Mariner 60hp 4 stroke outboard engines, she is highly maneuverable.
She has an endurance of 6.5 hours at 8kts, with a top speed of 12kts.
She has suspension seating, both 5V USB and 240v AC power (within the wheelhouse), sidescan sonar, a toilet (very unusual for a vessel of this size), and a 150kg line hauler.
The efficient layout of the vessel means that even with the generous wheelhouse, she still has an impressive 2.4 x 2.4m open deck area.
She carries an MCA category 3 commercial coding, allowing operations up to 20nm from a safe haven day and night, for up to 4 persons (including crew).
Like MARY OLWEN, she is trailer launched, so we can operate from anywhere that has a suitable slipway or boat lift.
TAURUS
Our smallest vessel! TAURUS is a 4m SIB, which makes her the most portable of our fleet.
She is intended for use on more sheltered waters (lakes and rivers).
Weighing just 110kg (with engine), she can be hand-launched by 2 people from almost anywhere that has waterside access.
Powered by an 18hp Tohatsu outboard, she can reach speeds of 18kts and can carry 3 people.

Our Skipper
Our skipper, Mike, has over 20 years experience of operating fast planing boats and has held an RYA Advanced Powerboat commercial endorsement since 2010. He is also an RYA Advanced Powerboat instructor, VHF Assessor, First Aid Instructor and a coxswain at Humber Rescue independent lifeboat.
Until June 2020 he had been managing RIB operations at the University of Hull, carrying out a wide variety of survey (water & sediment sampling, hydrographics, scientific fishing, ROV operations) for research, teaching and commercial purposes.
